Well, they may be visiting my house, but it won't be to get me - they'll be coming for Lauren.
This kid has a major shoe fetish all of a sudden. In fact, she got in trouble at daycare yesterday because all day long, she insisted on taking off her shoes. Which - she only does so that she can put them back on again.
On Monday, as soon as I brought her in the house, we went to her room and she immediately took off her shoes and swapped them for these - her new favorites - but I won't be letting her out of the house with them! They're high-heeled jelly shoes with Sleeping Beauty on them, and the heels light up with bright red lights when she steps down on them.
She excitedly put them on, while saying "SHOOSE", over and over, and then when she got them on, she tripped and clomped over to her dresser, saying "hat!". She found just the one she wanted, and her outfit was complete!

hey, i can relate.
(perhaps not to pink-heeled jellys, but you get the idea)
bring on the fall shoes! (like ZIS ONE: http://visuallyinklined.blogspot.com/2008/08/dear-lamb-youve-captured-my-heart.html)
that is so funny! My 2 year old does the same thing...she has purple Little Mermaid jellies that she tromps around the house with. She also has the glow worm that your daughter has and often carries books everywhere.
Maybe there is something magical about those Disney jellies that we just don't know about!
She has such style allready!!
and i totally love the shoes!!
she is adorable!
